Been having trouble with .active class for identifying the live page in the menu bar?
Well I have, it worked on and off but not consistently.
After weeks of fiddling, I have discovered that if I add another class to the menu bar links - to make some of the items a different colour to the others, for example, or even just selecting a particular colour other than the default - the classes seem to fight with each other.
So I went with the default colour.
All the same colour now, and all playing nice.
