Is it possible to get rid of the download function?
This is a tricky one because it’s part of the browser being used. You could try disabling the right-click function with some code, but it’s usually a fruitless exercise as there are many ways that a determined downloader can circumvent your efforts. The file has to be downloaded in order for it to play in the browser, unless you use a streaming service there isn’t much you can do to stop downloads. The general advice is if you don’t want your music files to be downloaded, best not to put them online at all.
