Is there anyway of automatically opening a modal on page open, either with Modal or Modal Designer?
I just discovered Cadence from @Whittfield and it does everything I need in conjunction with Modal Designer.
Custom Interactions should do it, have this or something similar on page load, somebody may be able to refine it better, but that type of thing is a starting point.

Be careful of that bric from @Whittfield as no support.
What your are looking for was recently covered and will get support and help to adapt to what you need 
I’m using the Cadence Bric with all my sites and it still works perfect.

Exactly.
But as long as it works, it doesn’t matter.
There are brics from Whitfield you shoudn’t use or buy anymore e.g. Card designer.
But Cadence is OK. I have no issues.
Thanks @AdieJAM I have switched to your suggestion of not using @Whittfields brics and just using the standard Modal bric which together with the Interaction Manager to create a Popup to display a modal and it works perfectly, and with plenty of customising options.
