Blocs 6

The thought of Blocs 6 pursuing a subscription business model really frightens me. Any thoughts about this possible outcome?

Don’t you offer subscription?

But, yea I understand what you’re saying . Norm made a statement a while back that Blocs 6 wouldn’t be subscription. No idea if that still applies. Maybe it’s both? I guess we will see soon. Probably likely if it hits the App Store. :man_shrugging:

As much as I detest subscriptions, for Blocs 6 I would support it, if that is what it comes to. I am in favor of saying, Go for it!, but all of us have to admit Blocs has helped us achieve so many things.

I think everyone would be happy to pay the money for the program in one lump sum, whether they are new customers or only if they upgrade from one version to a newer version, but the idea of a subscription, I don’t think anyone would be happy about it. I am now familiar with brick making. One of my bricks is fully ready for release, tested by an experienced person from the forum, and 4 more bricks are in progress.

But if it’s a subscription, I think I’ll finish the whole thing one by one, even before I’ve started. Or, at most, I will only make them for my own use.

I hope it won’t be like that.

The thing which attracted me to Blocs was the one time payment. I don’t need or want any more subscriptions.

I join and agree…

Me too. I dislike subscriptions - my reasons to go away from Adobe.
