I haven’t used Blocs in a while (former Blocs 2, 3, and 4 user) and I wanted to take the opportunity during the Black Friday deal to check out Blocs 6 Plus.

I am having an issue (I think) with the sale page.

On the Black Friday deal page ( Sale - Blocs Website Builder ), I see this for the pricing:

But when I go to click the buy button, the following page ( Blocs Website Builder - Pricing ) comes up with different pricing like this:

I’ve tried on a couple of different browsers with the same results. If I refresh on the second page, I can see that CSS changes the pricing, but somehow does not show it as $143.99 instead of $155.87.

I tried adding Blocs 6 Plus to my cart, thinking the second page was just displaying wrong - but it shows the $155.87 in the cart instead of the $143.99 Black Friday sale price.

I’m in the USA if that makes a difference.

Thanks for any help.

Hey @NAS,

The sales/deals page doesn’t localise pricing or calculate taxes. That all happens on our pricing / checkout page.

So it looks like there is tax being added to the purchase. We mention this in a few places.

If you click the Buy Blocs Plus button on the pricing page. You will see a breakdown of the price and which tax is added. As you can see in the UK, we have VAT tax added.

Im not sure how taxes apply in the US, I think its based on which state your bank is in?

But anyway, that is why the price is not the same between pages.

The Sales page shows the base price before any taxes are added.

I hope that helps.

Now I feel silly, haha. I added it to the cart and it said tax would be calculated at next step:

I always thought I was good at math - but somehow the fact that $179 - $36 does not equal $155.87 did not register in my mind.

Thanks again, and I am sorry for bothering you with this…

It’s no problem

Just an FYI Norm.

Taxes are levied depending on what state you live in.

For example: Here in New Hampshire, we have no sales tax but neighboring states all do have sales taxes.
