Hi Norm:
I tried using this bric today…
It does NOT seem to work in Blocs 6, and there is a note in the store that it didn’t work in Blocs 5.
Any chance we could get a quick fix?
Thanks

I just tried it in a test project and it works first time. Did you set the date correctly?
I would suggest using it in a fresh project as it may be some kind of conflict with another Bric if its not working in an existing project.
It worked in my Blocs 6. (as noted in an earlier thread)
Well, that is interesting?
Will have to try it again…
Here in the USA date format is: Month/Day/Year
You guys are: Year/Month/Day
Is that correct?
Will let you know what I find out…

Today is 2025/07/04
Countdown always tend to work as a count down with seconds last then minutes, hrs and then days.
Just tested the bric and working ok my side.
I would like to see an updated version of this bric if possible - with new styles but the main thing I would like is when it does time out, give an option for it to either open up a new page or open a bloc under it etc.
But for a free bric - it works well.
Hell, I’d pay a small update fee if needed.

I stand corrected, this bric does work, but having more display options would be a huge win.
I may yet use code to get a better display.
The reason I did not think it worked was it doesn’t work in preview.

This Bric could maybe use an update and switch to vanilla JS. It appears it uses an over decade old jQuery.countdown library v2.0.1 from 2013 and jQuery v3.2.1 from 2017.
Instead it could use vanilla JS and quite easily offer various modes, options, formats, languages, etc., using about 50(+/-) lines of vanilla JS.
Because there really are no options, I went here instead:
However, I would pay for a functional bric instead.

Hi All!
A little preview for you, with countless settings options, language selection function, and much more.
