Create a page in a sub directory

Hello everyone.

Although it is entirely possible that I am losing my mind, I am trying to figure out how to create a page in a sub directory:

I want to put specialpage.html in its own sub directory mainly so I can use cPanel’s simple but effective Directory Privacy feature to protect all pages in that sub directory ONLY.

So for instance: mywebsite.com/subdirectory/specialpage.html

Is this possible or am I have a senile moment?

You would be best to create your page as a separate one page site - maybe using one of your existing pages as a template. You can then publish this one-page site to the directory on your server. All you have to do is make sure that any links to and from the page include the full URLs for pages outside of the subfolder and vice versa
