Disable globals on specific pages

I would like to see an option whereby it’s possible to select a global item, such as a header or footer and edit it on a single page without affecting the other pages.

Thinking about this I guess it can done by simply adding the content on the specific page as a dynamic item, but I’d be interested to know the thoughts of more experienced users.

Just add the content to the dynamic area and switch off the global area.

Thanks. It took a minute of head scratching but I found it via the Page Settings options.
