Favicons

I Need Help

Hi.
Do we now only need to enter a single favicon into the settings to cover all it’s uses?
i.e. icons for pinned page tab, shortcut, 'add to home screen", etc.
I used to add several with some code for all the various devices.

Also is a robots.txt file still important?
It’s been a while!!

You still should provide favicons for different devices. I use favicon generator. It supplies the code and the package of icons.
