Missing in Blocs is setting up specific folders. Sadly all images are exported in one img folder.
Does anyone else see the need for keeping images in separate folder ,if needed?

You’re able to use Repository Bric to maintain assets directly on the server, if that’s a solution.
That has been your personal choice by embedding images into Blocs. If you use the hosted option you can create any folder structure you prefer.
Thank for your reply.
Can’t use the Online Demo, as it requires a Login and Password.
I don’t have a problem with the server side. Its Blocs exporting all images to the one folder “img”.
Thanks for that insight. I’m just bringing this to attention, because it would be nice to see this implemented in Blocs.
Exactly. And works perfectly with repository bric, as this has a copy link to file functionality.
Are you saying if use “Hosted Asset” when I export the project the img folder will have all the folders I’ve made?
No, It’s the other way around. You link the placeholder to the location of the image you decided.
For me I make a main folder “images” and under that lots of sub-folders. If I were to use Host Asset and make sub-folder there would be no different, other than the source.
Going back to my main thought, why can’t Blocs have that feature built-in when it is exporting?
Why just one img folder and all images in that folder?
Wouldn’t it be awesome if Blocs had Siri integrated as well? Building awesome websites on verbal instructions!
Actually, I never used Siri. LOL
Me too, until I got recently CarPlay. While driving Siri is my buddy.
The more I think about this, we take the time to make folders in the Image Asset, we done all the work. Why could Blocs take the information and export the way we have designed it?
@Norm, this may be a question for you. Is this or has it ever been on a wish list?
To keep it simple. Awesome, isn’t it?
Actually you shouldn’t care where the export is generating the images, as it doesn’t make any difference.
You’re a funny guy. LOL
Yes, to me it is important.
No actually I am quite serious. Keeping things simple reduces errors and with this support.
Working with paths and subfolder structures can be difficult.
What I love about Blocs is the clean and simple file structure.
If you have so many images inside your project that you have to group them in subfolders, you nevertheless should keep them out of your project and maintain them directly on the server.
