Google Analytics: non-standard implementation

Hi,

I have added the Google Analytics code in the page header from the menu Page>Settings>Head code but when checking the page with the Chrome Tag Assistant it says “Global site tag (gtag.js): OK”, “Google Analytics: Non-standard implementation”.

Could someone help me understand why? Thanks.

Hi, it’s because you did put it into the header. You have to put it into the end of the body (= closing body tag of the page). Unfortunately, in blocs it is confusingly named Footer instead of ‘Body End’.

I’ve always known this as the footer
