Google Fonts don't display correctly in app

After updating to 6.4.4 my Google fonts all display incorrectly in-app as though they are not installed. However, when previewing in a browser the fonts display correctly. I have tried re-installing fonts, restarting the app and recreating new projects but the problem remains. The two fonts which don’t display in app are Poppins and Oswald. This was not a problem before updating to 6.4.4.

Cheers

PS I’ve noticed the fonts display correctly in the Font Manager itself but don’t display correctly anywhere else.

PPS I’m on Sequoia 15.7.5

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling with 6.4.4.

Also do you get the missing font popup?

I haven’t tried reinstalling Blocs yet and I am not getting a missing font popup.

Sorry I meant reinstalling the Google fonts with the latest version.

Yes, I have reinstalled the fonts.

Have you tried using the fonts in a new project? Just in case it’s project related.

I have tried new projects and the problem remains.

Also, I just noticed all the included templates look good to preview but once you edit them they display without the correct fonts.

Hi @Norm , I am reporting the same issue:
New project, recently removed an added fonts. All display the same weight (blocs and safari).
Montserrat for example,
This is how it should like bolder variants:

This is how it looks in blocs and browser:

No matter the weight you choose, it always displays normal. Happens the same with other fonts (nunito, open sans, poppins, raleway, roboto)

Do you get the same results in a fresh project?

Yes, it happens mostly with new projects.
Before the latest update I have this issue with older projects too, but with the update older projects are showing fine the fonts (even those created with B4 or 5 and migrated to 6)

And I had the same with Josefin Sans before the new Blocs came out, probably about a month ago. All weights showing the same, although italic worked.
I just thought it was something in my system, so didn’t report.
Restarted the Mac and it worked fine (for the majority of the time), with a couple of typo blips.
