M2 updates - time for tutorials on Buttons

Yesterday saw the updates to the Mac mini, MacBook Pro and today the HomePod which is cool, but before the HomePod was updated, Apple had a cool button with a gradient border. One we can make in Blocs with no code.

I have been planning some button tutorials, so thought why not start with this one. I created a new YouTube playlist called Better Buttons, and I will over the next little while, make some tutorial with no-code / low-code techniques.

Hope you enjoy (and subscribe )

Thanks. Gradient borders can be tricky, but this was easy to make as a no-code solution, thanks to the extra style options we have in the Class Editor these days.

Clip is probably not used by many, let’s change that.

An alternative would be - Clip: content box

Which will give you the same result in this case (the way I made this button), but as soon as you add padding to the button, it will be messed up. So they are fun to experiment with.
