Navbar Styling?

Blocs 3 is an amazing app, but some of the things that look like they should be simple turn out to not be so easy (or maybe it is just me).

For instance, with a global navbar why is it so hard to figure out how to style the individual menus so that they have a hover effect and an active effect?

Yes, I have watched all about custom classes to control this styling and I have tried every combination I can come up with and I can still not get a hover and active effect to work. What am I doing wrong?

Are there examples anywhere of how to do this easily?

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Indeed it is an amazing app!
Never compare this app with “wix” or all other “online dashboards”.
