NEW BRIC - PageLingo 2.0, Website Translation, Perfected 🌍

Hi everyone :waving_hand:

After months of work (and a lot of user feedback), PageLingo 2.0 is out.

For those who don’t know it: PageLingo adds automatic website translation to Blocs sites. Visitor’s browser language is detected and the whole site translates automatically. V1 became one of our best sellers, so we wanted 2.0 to be a genuine leap, not a version bump.

What’s new:

  • Second translation engine Google Cloud API. :backhand_index_pointing_right: Bring your own API key and get a properly licensed, commercial-grade setup. Google gives you 500k characters/month free; the manual has a full 10-minute walkthrough for getting and domain-restricting a key. This one’s for client work and business sites that need something built to last.

  • Custom language switcher (Cloud engine) :backhand_index_pointing_right: native language names, only the languages you whitelist, styled to sit in your design rather than Google’s 2012 toolbar. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

  • Consent gating :backhand_index_pointing_right: new checkbox. When on, PageLingo sets no cookies and loads nothing until your consent tool calls one JS function. Plays nice with CookieYes, Complianz, custom banners, anything.

  • Proper Google attribution :backhand_index_pointing_right: We did the ToS homework so you don’t have to.

  • Rebuilt runtime with much better console diagnostics when something’s misconfigured.

Price: $25 one-time. If you bought V1 after 31st March 2026, the 2.0 update is FREE. Thats how we say, Thank You!.

Hi @IzzyCooper.cz, thank you for the kind words about our latest Bric, I appreciate you considering it.

That said, I’m genuinely disappointed that you’ve been unhappy with SmoothFlow (especially the parallax background issue) but never reported it to us. Each of our Brics has a support button build in precisely for this reason. Issues like this can usually be fixed very quickly once we know about them, and we actively support all our customers.

Constructive criticism is always welcome, but publicly criticising someone’s hard work while never once reporting the actual problem isn’t the most helpful or fair approach. We can’t improve what we don’t know about.

If you’re still experiencing the parallax issue with SmoothFlow, please email us at support@blocs-brics.store (or just click the support button inside the Bric!) with a quick description and, if possible the project page and I’ll look into it right away. Happy to help you get it working properly.

Once that’s sorted, I’d be glad to have you try the new Bric with confidence.

Thanks again for your interest.

I overlooked the support option. I apologize for that. I will write you a ticket and delete it here. Thank you for your response

I tried to see if the demo works but on non of my devices it shows the text in Dutch. So I am wandering does this plugin supports Safari? Or are specific settings required for tracking or what??? Even with everything open no VPN no nothing it doesn’t work.

Hello @WicherDonga,
The Bric reads the browser language set by the user and automatically translates to it. The demo video demonstrates how it works. We’re currently working on a project to showcase all our Brics. Please read the manual for detailed information on its functions, workings and limitations. Feel free to contact us with any further questions; we’re here to help.
