Loving Blocsapp from my little use so far.
My first idiot question…
Using the hero page, is there anyway of moving the text to exactly where I want it? Drag and drop stylee kinda of thing?

Not a stupid question… you can make a custom class for the text and then add padding or margins to move the text around the page. Note: once you do this you will most liking have to adjust the alignment on all three breakpoints.
