October CMS login and uploads

Hi,

if you go for October cms from within blocs, does blocs upload everything you need after you have built the website or do you need to upload October cms to the server as well for it too work?

How does the client login to October?

You have to upload the October CMS stuff as well and set up a database. There are also some specific PHP requirements that may have to be turned on I recall.

I really wanted to like October, however I gave up on it after a few hours. It was fiddly to set up, but above all, it didn’t seem like a good option for clients because a lot of raw code is visible. You may have better luck.
