On 6.43 primary menu Is this bug?

Items added to the primary menu are not reflected.

Has adding items to a menu changed from before? Is it now simply a matter of adding them to a list?

It’s not exactly the same…

Yesterday (with v6.4.3), after duplicating a page and then renaming it via the Page Inspector, I ended up with a non-erasable duplicate entry of the normal page in the primary menü. I couldn’t remove it. Only after deleting both pages (the original and the duplicate) was I able to remove the item from the Primary Menu. Luckily, there wasn’t much content on the site, and the backup interval is set to 3 minutes

If the menu goes out of sync for some reason, try selecting the menu on the design canvas and then pressing the refresh button in the inspector.

Thats odd, you literally couldn’t remove it from the Menu Manager menu list?

This message is displayed.

I’ve had terrible experiences with settings I didn’t specify being applied, and settings I had made disappearing. Since then, I’ve avoided touching this menu as much as possible because I never know what might happen.

You need to select the Nav Bar in the layer tree.

If something you previously set as your primary becomes “None” and you select it as your primary again, all your previous settings will be erased. Is there any way to recover it?

I’m too scared to reconnect.

Please fix my navigation system so that it works properly again.

No, it really didn’t work. I also tried changing the settings for the pages (Use in Primary Menu). The menu item could only be removed after both pages had been deleted.

Currently, when I link the primary from the menu manager, the CSS I previously set disappears and is not reflected, so I can’t manage it from the primary. I suspect that the changes were not properly carried over from version 5 to 6.

Norm, I’ve sent the project to support. It’s showing as exceeding the data limit, so I’m sending it from a storage service. Please verify and fix it.
