When I paste text from f.e a pdf document some characters are missing. If I paste the word “profiles” the pasted text is “pro iles”. IS there anything I’m doing wrong? Also the spaces between words are sometimes deleted…
Depends what hidden formatting the PDF is using. You should paste the text into a text cleaner to get ride of all the hidden styling and unprintable characters.
I think text edit can be set to just plain text for this, or Text wrangler is another app.
