Save As option

Currently when you ‘save as’ to create a new version (which I normally do when I’m creating incremental copies of sites under development) the auto text in the save as box is My Site. Would it be better if the current name appeared but with an increment like _1 and the directory defaulted to where the previous copy is written rather than the last directory opened in osx? It doesn’t take long for me to retype and change directories but it’s just a bit cumbersome to do.

Thoughts anyone?

I can’t imagine it would be difficult to parse the current name + location, and have a preference option to increment or timestamp when using Save As. Seems like a reasonable and sensible request.
