Any idea why my side nav always shows the appearance of scroll bars on my own computer? Using MacStudio desktop, current hardware, OS, and other software. Using Safari or Chrome. Doesn’t matter how I make the side nav. I tried Eldar’s minimalist library, Pete Sharp’s OffCanvas Helper, and native blocs. And can you tell me if you see this on your computer:

Offcanvas Helper on that site is works fine here.
It’s likely you have Show Scroll Bars set to “Auto..,” or “Always”. Change it to When Scrolling in your OS Settings.
Settings → Apperance → Show Scroll Bars

It also shows fine on my end as well.
In my case, I have the show scroll bars set to ‘Automatically based on mouse or trackpad’. That’s one of the first settings I always apply to my Macs during the setup.
EDIT: I actually often switch it to ‘When scrolling’ like Pete suggested. In any case, I believe that as long as it’s not at ‘Always’, it would be fine.
