I would like to build a simple web site made of 3 simple pages with a background slideshow of 5-10 photos.
I have no idea where to start from.
Can anyone please give me an indications?

You will probably want to drop a navigation bloc in the global area at the top, which is then replicated on all pages. Then add a carousel bloc below that in the main area and add images.
