Hey here are some cool features to look forward toโฆ
The new CSS Transition Controls is something I know we all been waiting for.
Class Counter is an interesting one. Only if this feature could let us know where they are being used.
Class Detail Popover I see this as knowledge is power.
Evolve - Gym site template. I canโt wait to examine the inside of this. No doubt this could be useful.
Image Masks with some many more to choose from!
Toggle Hidden Elements to be reveal!
Favorite Fonts! No more scrolling through my long list.
A new Preview Workflow similar to Responsively App.
Did my eyes deceive me .htaccess now in the Code Editor!
The new Page Navigator is a Plus! It always been difficult to make new page your default home page.
Link Spacing Control Sets the top, bottom, left and right padding quickly by linking them all!
The new Page Navigator is packed with new features and improvements! Folders, Yes!!
Using Preview Images is such a great add! I sure hope it used when using Image Asset Manager. Something I personally requested at Blocs 3. Use older folks need to be able to see those small images.
and so much more to be revealed. Letโs get this party started with Blocs 6!
So cool so excited I hope that Blocs become my new (and only app) for developing websites.
So now Solis is integrated right away, great.
I have to agree with the comment seen there.
Seeing the # of times a class is used โ vs โ actually being able to go to where each instance is located / used within the page / project. The former is good basic data but the latter allows actionable workflow. So, really hoping that if itโs not already present that it can be implemented accordingly.
Other users thoughts?
Same with the page manager, which apparently just organises pages inside blocs, and doesnโt reflect the URL structure, which I assume you still then have to go to page settings to define, creating a bit of confusion and double steps. This method was always difficult to manage.
The page manager could potentially be great for creating and managing multi language sites for example if this was implemented.
It would also bring feature parity with other builders, and have a workflow advantage.
Regarding the class counter, I have no idea why would need that? Curious though.
I assume you meant โPage Navigatorโ, but yes I guess it could allow for manage-ing more regarding its feature scope.
Ops you are right. I guess everything else is *manager.
It would be simple and intuitive.
Being able to see how often a class has been used is, like you said, good basic data. Iโve found myself using it more than I thought.
Itโs been requested a number of times, I suppose itโs like a word / character count type of feature.
Regarding finding the classes, there is already a feature for this.
The new class details popover is really useful, I couldnโt live without it.
I think this may be optional at some point in the future.
Possibly a workflow or project setting.
Like we mentioned on X creating long SEO relevant URLs would be cumbersome, if you are creating folders within folders to get a url such as: my website/products/cars/green/1980s/new/mini
There are users who take advantage of simply pasting this url into page settings and getting the structure on export.
The other way around would be time consuming, but I agree there are advantages to the navigator folders having some influence on export.
I see what youโre saying, but that seems like a less likely scenario to be that nested with a static site than say a CMS. But then I havenโt tried the page navigator, so no idea what itโs like or capable of.
One problem I see with that idea is around clean URLs. You could accidentally, without thinking, end up with something like
domain/company/contact/contact
I guess it would do, from a personal perspective.
We all have ideas of how it should work and fit together, but keeping the balance is tricker than it sounds. What delights one user, has potential to annoy another, and negativity is more powerful than positivity. Most of us are way more likely to comment, when it annoys us, than when it pleases us.
Well thatโs annoyingโฆ
And communication is key to a healthy community.
Like I mentioned I see a potential issue with my idea. We have to be open to learning all the time. For example the class counter, I donโt get it, but Iโm curious to its use case, which I did genuinely ask.
Obviously everything is a balance and criticism is part of that, it offers alternative solutions or improvements. Negativity is a dead end. We donโt always like the things we have worked hard on to be questioned. But thatโs part of life, we donโt all see or work the same way.
I donโt believe anyone thinks you have an easy job being a solo dev with an app as complex as Blocs. Thatโs why I stick to JavaScript
Indeed that feature is present. Though I just tried again and it does not seem to โNavigate toโ the location as described in the documentation when changing pages (though it is highlighted across pages) unless Iโm approaching it incorrectly?
With my previous comment above I was thinking the implementation of a cycle function that the user could easily cycle +/- through the # of instances which could improve assisting users in getting to the location verse searching about for the # of instances now being declared in Blocs 6.
But yes the docs say it should โNavigate toโ assuming scroll to the location, though how does that presently work when switching across pages?
Profound, certainly a small part of the sad tale of humanity, with all at fault.
Norm:
I welcome the changes to the color swatches.
For a colorblind person like myself, this will be a very nice tool.

Iโm still genuinely and earnestly curious about this.
But with no response yet, I saw in the Blocs 5 Release Notes that it mentions changing highlighted class selection using arrow keys? Though given no feedback here along with it not being mentioned in the Documentation or Blocs Bytes Iโm curious about the usage ?
Can someone enlighten me how you presently cycle through using the existing described โnavigate toโ for multiple instances of highlighted class selection on a page and also across different pages within your Blocs project.
For the record, Iโm not trying to be individualistic with my above previously stated idea, I just wanna understand how the majority are utilizing this existing feature to solve problems ?
I just have the โhighlight class on canvasโ check box ticked. It then shows a red box around the item on the canvas, then I use the page navigator to go through each page, to see if I use it on there. Not sure if this is the best way, but it works for me. With the new Class counter feature, iโm guessing it will be even easier, as you will know when youโve viewed all instances.
The tools released so far are fantastic and incredibly useful for all my new projects, which I will definitely continue using in Blocs 6. However, the trend in web design is currently shifting more towards animations with tools like Figma, Framer, Webflow, etc. and moving away from maintenance-heavy WordPress sites. Therefore, I would love to see more features in this area from Blocs so that my websites can remain visually competitive in the future.
