I don’t get this message in my Extension Manager, but I only have brics from Cazoobi and Volt.

I hope you just mean that bric updates is not my area of expertise (which will be correct), or maybe you are just being you?
We recently changed the Extension Manager (May 28th), so it no longer runs the update check when it’s launched. You need to manually trigger it with the update button.
I’ll tweak the way this notification works so if there is an update alert at launch, the update check will be triggered automatically.
Quick update - I’ve improved this in V5.2.7. Update check is auto triggered.
