Video Bric - what does the setting "Plays inline" do?

I’ve added an MP4 video using the video Bric with the setting “Local/remote”. I understand all settings except this one “Plays inline”. Don’t have a clue what that settting is supposed to do.

If you hover over options in Blocs with the cursor it actually tells you what it does. In this case it prevents full screen play on mobile webkit browsers.
