Video support for JWPlayer

Is there a way to support video other than Youtube or Vimeo?

I prefer to use JWPlayer to serve up my video – it strips out all the overhead that comes with Youtube/Vimeo in terms of ads, recommended videos and other crap.

But every time I paste in the embed code ie. it refuses to take it?

Is this a bug, or a feature?

If the latter, could this be added as a feature?

You can self host if you want using the video bric. It works fine and if you use the beta of 2.5 you can access remote resources on a server through the asset manager.
