I’ve been following @Norm wish list for 2022 and there’s been some discussion about blogs for Blocs. I’ve updated my blog and used the Volt CMS blog features.

@Jannis states clearly that Volt is not as full featured as using a Wordpress template but I find it mostly more than I need.

I’m not looking for a discussion on cost as we all have free choice in purchasing addons.

Can I ask what you used for the comments section, was it easy to install?

I use Disqus. Just create a free account. Create a shortcut name and in the blog settings there’s a place for your shortcut name. Volt handles the rest.

Really easy.

Thanks, my two cents for features I’d like to see added:

  1. Recent posts: add a date checkbox to show postdate in the recent posts area.
  2. A simple :joy: two-column area where you could put two images side by side.
  3. Allow Disqus to post comments on each blog post. Not show all of the comments from other posts.

I think Volt CMS has matured over time and I’m hoping for some future updates.
