Your other url works correctly, though I think you have added a different sized preview image.
I believe Facebook will try to create a preview image and description, even if you have no Open Graph data, but if it finds this information it will include the data you want. It’s just a question of doing it properly.

It now even works without https, so great!
It should work that way by following the 301 redirect. It seems to take time for Facebook to filter new url links through their system.
