Will it work to create different blocs for Mobile Site

I’m new to Blocs - I think I’ve grasped it at a basic level and have built a site I like.
I now need to make it mobile friendly.
I [nearly] understand ‘visibility’ for dif breakpoints as regards columns and styling - but does this mean that I can create additional Blocs just for a mobile? And turn off some others so that they don’t display on a mobile?
So a Bloc that was for instance text heavy, could be edited and shortened, for a mobile? Or an image could be substituted…

Thanks. I have really enjoyed playing around with Blocs and appreciate anyone’s advice…

Depends how you’re doing it. Blocs will assign images per breakpoint if you set one. But if you are assigning entire blocs per breakpoint using visibility, you need to consider the entire bloc will still load if invisible. It’s not removing the markup it’s just not showing it.
