Just want to say hello

Hi Blocs community,

I’ve been using Rapidweaver and Elements for some years now. Elements is my go-to since the beta phase began. I’ve been developing templates for these two systems and have been quite happy.

But in parallel I’ve been experimenting with Blocs since version 4 and I’ve also been lurking in the forum from time to time. Towards the end of last year I began to seriously consider Blocs and believe it’s time to convert some of my templates. I’ve also got some fresh ideas. Blocs is truly fantastic and version 6.4 was now the final kick to dedicate more time to it.

Yeah, it was good to see you around here. That gave me the last bit of confidence that my decision to invest more time in Blocs is the right one.

Thanks Markus, you’ll appreciate Blocks. It offers so many tools that you can create complete, ready-to-publish templates without adding anything else. This also means more creative freedom for developers :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

It looks like all of our hard work has tempted you over to the dark side :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:.

As you already know, we have a great community here that love to support our 3rd party developers.

As a company, we do our best to give developers the freedom to build and share their work without having to jump through hoops or hand over commission to us. We think this is a more forward thinking way to build our developer community.

I’m familiar with your work and I’m looking forward to seeing some of it on the Blocs Store.

Thanks, @Norm you hit the nail on the head. I really appreciate the respectful atmosphere here.

I’ll get in touch with you soon; I’m already working on my first template. Unfortunately, I’m still moving pretty slow since I need to get the basics down first.
