Thatās interesting, no I havenāt seen that, Iāll give it a whirl today. If I create a folder bloc_resources is the relative path simply /blocs_resources ?
Thanks for that - Ben

Itās very unlikely Blocs for the web would be something we could release in 2026. ![]()
This is a huge job and responsibility, it would take years and thatās with a much bigger team. This type of product is best suited to a VC backed company (which we are not).
However, a way to adapt websites after published in a more Blocs-esque way is more realistic, but a fully fledged version of Blocs in the cloud, is unlikely any time soon.
I also love native apps.
As Iāve mentioned Name and Type is already supported in Blocs 6.
You would like that extended to Size and Date.
Hi Chicuelo,
You can use https://parall.app (also available via the App Store) to open multiple projects in parallel. With the app you can create multiple instances of Blocs and open more than 1 project at the same time ā¦. simple work-around
Very nice app, hadnāt heard of it before. Thanks for sharing!
Hi Norm,I would second Wolfgangās suggestion to have an interim focus on stability. For me that would be copy & paste Code Widgets on and between pages (see my defect report on that).
I guess there are more of these on your back-log.
Hi @Norm
Thanks for your reply. Yeah I guess it would be a huge process in making it web based - I guess a more site editing within Wordpress would be the easier option?
I will be honest - a few years ago I had lots of things I wanted blocs to have and over the years its been getting better and better and to me personally its ticked nearly 99% of things I have ever wanted. I put it all down to me now as a designer to be creative and make the clean sites with the stunning amount of options we have in Blocs and developers supporting the platform.
The 1 thing I would like!!!
If I could have one thing then - which I hope is a more possible option! is to have options to have global change on a Global Bloc and a Glocal Bric.
How I would like to see this work is we open the Global Bloc or Bric and the one we open is the master aways, we edit, create etc. This can then be simply copied and pasted into other pages (Bloc) or copy and pasted into other sections of the website (bric) and the copied versions of the Global Copy are marked off saying COPY or something and can not be edited. Only the MASTER can be changed.
A change In the master is globally changed to any that have a copy of that.
Users simply give an ID to that Bloc/Bric.
I am guessing as we can change colours globally, fonts, classes globally and anything in the headers and footers section - I am hoping it could be not a too hard a process to create a Global Bloc & Bric.
I would like both a Bloc and Bric because smaller brics can be placed in areas on a website like updating something like a poster for an Easter or Black Friday promotion would globally change.
I remember VOLT being able to do what I have requested, but would be great to see it natively in Blocs.
And thanks for your hard work @Norm and @Helen and others that are working hard behind the scenes.
+1 for Volt ![]()
In regards to PHP development, the possibility to inject code before doctype and after document close.
Frankly Norm, Iād just like to see preview improved.
I think it does not work very well.
Rich the Weather Guy
Very cool, thanks.
In that case Iād like to change this request option to this one:
Allow Nav Bars to use icons / SVG images instead of text. And allow animations of the SVGās/icons too.
Another one @Norm Support for variable fonts
OK, Iāll DM you and see what is up.
Great call @Ricardo
I would also like if its possible to have responsive fonts, specially for headers so instead of having to set one size per break point, if for example I want a huge header to fill the screen - this is now fully responsive.
I am so use to clicking, for sorting purposes, on a header in order to sort Name, Date, Type and or Size. I guess I have to get use to drop-down menus. ![]()
Yes, indeed adding Size and Date would be great for large projects.
Wow, this makes me wonder if this would work copying a Bloc or any other Element hold it in memory and paste it into another project.
One more request for the class manager in addition to support multi CSS selectors. Add one more tab for freehand definitions.
I just tried it out ⦠c&p of text works fine. Copying elements (blocs or brics) does not work, I am not sure if that is due to Parall or Blocs. It would be very nice if it would work though ![]()
Hi Norm,
First of all, still very happy with Blocs.
-Scroll to target in another page. I know I can write a full url link but ehh, 2 fields would be great, one for page, one for target
