It would be wonderful to designate a ‘code editor’ within blocs, i.e. VS Code, and then when viewing attachments like these, a double-click on them will open that file in your chosen code editor.
At the moment, you have to remember where these files are stored (copies aren’t moved to the project folder, so these files could be anywhere.) and open them in your code editor of choice manually.
