Is there a way to specify different carousel image sizes for PC and mobile devices?

I just used to drop a class on the image if I needed to…but only ever did it once while playing around, but I would always make sure the carousel was the size I needed in the column in the first place and ensure all my images were sized the same and let the Carousel do its work.
Regular photos usually have settings like 1x, 2x, and 3x zoom, right?
