Additions to the Asset Manager

Thank for the version 6.3 additions, very awesome!

These may be helpful.

Use AI to create image file names.

Title tag field that’s populated by the description, currently I put in a Custom Attribute to get this done.

A button in the Asset Manager or File menu item that will generate all Descriptions and Keywords.

A button in the Asset Manager or File menu item that will populate image descriptions and title tags everywhere the images are used in the web pages, I have to click in the description box and hit enter to get it to populate everywhere the image is used. There could also be a check box in the image panel that selects not update Description & Title, if you don’t want to update it when the Media Gallery function is ran.

Thanks

Hey @calibinder some good suggestions here.

I see a lot of projects from users with binary asset names which I don’t think is ideal for Google image search, so a quick rename option could be a good addition.

As for the blanket generations, it’s obviously possible, I’m just not sure the generated names are reliable enough at this stage.

I agree with Norm.

Could never trust Ai to get it all correct.

However, I will say it once again, if Blocs could retain the settings of the Asset manager, that would be great. Every day I have to reset the panel to 3 columns, and change the drop down to “Name Ascending.”

Remembering the last panel settings would be a most welcome update.

Hey @calibinder just a quick heads up to let you know that the next beta (build 3) of Blocs for Mac 6.3 will also include a AI name generator button.

Thanks for your feedback :raising_hands:

It would be cool to be able to add AI keywords and descriptions to all images with one click (or by default using the project/blocs app settings?)

Yeah, I’ll probably add that once we know the descriptions are reliable and have been used by the wider Blocs user base.
