I run into an obstacle again with utilizing the template blocs and auto updating pages later on. I thought once I have my block done, I can save it to the library and reuse it for my pages. All this so later on when a change happens to that block and I save it on top of the old template, it will auto update all the pages utilizing this template. Is there a way to achieve this? Footers for example for multi language sites. One language sites are easy - use top and bottom sections and you are all set. For another language section for the same site, those needs to be made with separate and repeat on all pages that will have that language. In RW this is very very easily achieved with Partials and Templates. How do we achieve the same effect here?

That’s not how that feature works, items stored in the Bloc Bar are available across all projects so we don’t sync changes after a resave to all projects that may have used the Bloc.
Blocs currently doesn’t offer a way to sync content changes between multiple elements on a page, just style via classes or the global areas.
But the feature is on our radar.
To see the future in blocs would be great. One more comment about the future right now: if the bloc contains links, the links does not retain the correct pages. I understand for new sites they would reset since the links page might not be available, but for current sites should it retain that setting.
No, I’m afraid not. The links are not connected using page names, they link to internal page ids so you can change the name multiple times and it never goes out of sync.
Pretty sure they will stay connected in the same project, but reset to index in new projects as the id will be missing.
