The BG images in a project aren’t displayed in the Blocs preview or in the browser preview, even though the editor displays everything correctly. The images are in Asset Manager, and they are exported correctly (to the export folder). Assigning via classes, as well as manually, produce the same result—nothing. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your advice.
I can’t say what the solution is, but a quick check would be:
Are they webP or jpeg?
How are they named (any strange characters)?
Make sure they’re rgb and not cmyk
I found the problem.
Somehow, the entire site was included as attachments in the project settings — no idea why.
After I removed them, everything went back to normal.
That’s interesting, I had this also, parallax background images showing in the project fine during editing process but preview within Blocs and preview in browser they disappeared. To fix it I adding the background images in a class instead of using the drop zone in the Blocs properties for the bloc and then they worked fine.
How did you find out they were added as an attachment? I’d like to look further in to my own project file and see if I can see if and where this is happening for future reference.
I didn’t raise it as an issue or a bug as I was thinking along the lines that I maybe added a script for a function for something that was affecting or conflicting the background script.
