Blocs crashes when I load a project or start a new project

Running Blocs 6.3.3 on Mac Tahoe 26.2 and every time I try to load a previous project into Blocs (by clicking it in the list on the left) the application crashes. The same happens when I try to create a new project.

Triggered by Thread: 0, Dispatch Queue: com.apple.main-thread
Exception Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT)
Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000
Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 6, Abort trap: 6
Terminating Process: Blocs [7076]

I’ve rebooted the machine, deleted and re-installed Blocs, but still crashing out.

Wondering if anyone has any ideas or there are instructions for deleting every library, config file, etc connected with Blocs so I can do a proper clean install, rather than just deleting the application?

Hey, sorry to hear Blocs is crashing.

Had you previously been able to run Blocs on your setup and this is a new problem?

Yes, I’ve run and successfully designed/deployed websites with Blocs - now I need to make some updates it keeps crashing out.

Could you please try re-downloading the latest version from here and installing over your current version.

If that fails, you may have some kind of corrupt user defaults configuration setting. The quickest and easiest fix is to use an app like App Cleaner to flush all prefs and then try a fresh install.

Deleting all preferences, etc worked! Thanks @Norm
