A longstanding bug in Blocs is that creating links from list items creates a line break, which cannot be seen on canvas and have to be deleted manually one by one from the later tree. They are easily missed unless you deliberately search from them and remember to open up list items.
As a follow up, I am seeing that here as well and there is no list bric involved. It’s simply links added to words in paragraph brics.
