Hey everyone, we’re back with a brand new beta of Blocs for Mac 6.2.

This is what is new and improved in Beta Build 2:
• Updated PHP server to 8.4.7.
• Update Bootstrap 5 Framework to 5.3.6.
• Improve window management on dual displays.
• Made preview mode breakpoint resize labels more accurate.
• Added basic url validation to Site Address field in Project Settings.
• Fixed issue with preview mode hover previews showing on Accordion and Tab Bric controls.

Here is a list of what is new in Blocs 6.2:

FTP Manager :cloud:

• Set Default Publish Server for Project.

• Duplicate Publish Servers.

• Reorder Publish Servers.

• Added FTP Manager context menu.

Design :paintbrush:

• Stacked Containers - (Div container option) Check layer tree for ordering once stacked…

• Add classes to menu items in Menu Manager.

Preview Mode :arrow_forward:

• Added Preview Mode Address Field.

• Display Estimated Page Weight (Loaded Size) in Preview Mode.

• Added link previewing to Preview Mode.
• Made preview mode breakpoint resize labels more accurate.

Interaction Manager :zap:

• Send web notifications from Custom Interactions.

Productivity :racing_car:

• Find and navigate used Classes.

• Asset Manager Ordering Options.

• Improve window management on dual displays.

• Added basic url validation to Site Address field in Project Settings.

Misc :nerd_face:

• Updated PHP server to 8.4.7.

• Update Bootstrap 5 Framework to 5.3.6.

On our end of all things Blocs, we really do not get how much work goes into keeping Blocs up to date and listening to the users. Personally, I am grateful for all the unknown factors, including the challenges in love and life. My desire is that you prosper in your endeavors for us all, as you face daily challenges.

The new beta is running very smoothly for me too! :blush: I haven’t noticed any major bugs. You can really feel the love in the development. Thank you for such a fantastic app! :raised_hands::rocket:

I have been working on a website and other projects recently and locked myself away and buried myself into work and I have to say the more I am using Blocs the more I love the work that @Norm @Helen and anyone else in their team are doing.

All these updates are brilliant and much appreciated!!!

What are “stacked containers” in Blocs? (Not found in Knowledge Base.)
And what is an example use case?

Pardon the low resolution because I borrowed from the video you linked, but I have never seen this before:

Then again, I’ve not yet downloaded 6.2b2, so I guess it’s something new and seen for the first time in that beta. If not, it must pertain to Bootstrap 5 because all my websites are still BS4.

Hey @JDW stacked containers is a new feature of Blocs for Mac 6.2.

I’ll be updating the knowledge base over the next few days to include the new features before 6.2 is released.
