Blocs for Mac 6.3 Beat Build 3 πŸ‘¨β€πŸ”¬

Hey everyone,

Here is the 3rd and likely final beta of Blocs for Mac 6.3.

This build comes with even more new features, pushing the new feature count of v6.3 to 40! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Which is kinda crazy actually, because Blocs 6 has now had 90 new features in less than a year!

This exciting new version is packed with 40 new features to explore and test, some of them shown off here.

Happy testing :clinking_beer_mugs:

Connection is very slow.
80-120KB/s !!

Looking through the list of New, Fixes, and ect… did not find a long requested need  Personally, I am challenge with poor eyesight.
Image Asset Manager featuring a Zoom in / out feature on the bottom right, like the one MAC uses in finder and other apps. Having the ability to sort by Date, Name, Type, Dimension… etc. would be the coolest feature.

Blocs 6 already has a zoom to scale the assets in the Asset Manager and filtering by name and type.

It also has a list view option too newly added in 6.3.

Hi @Norm,

Found a bug in the Blocs 6.3 betas. When you first start Blocs, you can open the code editor from the dropdown menu and/or key shortcut. However, once you select to edit a code widget, the code editor no longer opens from the drop-down menu nor key shortcut. The only way to re-open the code editor is either to select to edit a code widget. Re-starting Blocs restores the normal function. I did report it as bug, but could not upload the video there.

Regardless if its Blocs bugs are finally getting caught up on, AI is beginning to expedite the apps development process, some aspects of each, or other. It’s just nice to see features coming into the app more so like back in the earlier versions of Blocs, rapidly (whom remember).

Makes me wonder, @mackyangeles are you still observing Blocs and tracking features? I remember you wanted a lot of features :–) , hope you’re well if you ever see this, we miss you.

I was really hoping for something like this. Especially when the project have nearly a hundred images. Having this feature would really set Blocs on a whole new level.

Ah ok, I see. I’m afraid we have no plans to replicate this style of layout in the Blocs Asset Manager.

The functionality is mostly there, just in a different layout.

I can probably add more meta data in the list layout mode so you can see dimensions etc.

That would be an excellent feature.

Repository Manager has this kind of functionality.

Don’t forget it’s always good to store this large amount of images not in the project itself
