Hey everyone, with the release of Blocs V5.2.5 yesterday, it’s time to begin testing the next version of Blocs V5.
As well as fixes, this release has some nice new additions to the built in Follow Bric.
Hover Effects
You can now apply some subtle hover effects to the follow icons.
Threads
You can also now link to your Threads social media account.
Linked-in Company Links
The Follow Bric now supports Linked-in company urls (which are different to account urls).
New Short codes
I’ve also added support for 2 new social related developer short codes. You can now use these in your Brics / Blocs / Pages / Sites to populate the value with whatever is set in Project Settings Accounts for the relevant social netwrok.

%facebookUserName% - Facebook - Project Settings > Accounts
I’ve also pre-populated the Follow Bric X and Facebook account values with these short codes for newly added Brics which means they will take the account user name information from what ever you set in Project Settings.
