We are always making improvements to the Blocs Store to help you showcase the amazing templates, tutorials and add-ons you make for Blocs.
Today we are adding support for featured products to your own personal store fronts. This new option lets you bring your most popular products to the top of your store front, making them easier to find.
You can featured as many products as you like, I know for template developers @Eldar@AnasHyeee and @RME this will be a welcomed addition to your store fronts as you have huge libraries of products available for Blocs.
Norm, one thing I personally would like to see and I do this every time I see something in the Blocs store and I have just seen it again is you have updated a few brics and the page transition I am wondering what has been updated? (if you can let me know!) and is there a way the developer can say what changes have been applied in the update?
For example - there could be a bric I have not bought because a feature is not there that I wanted, but in the versions of the update this could state this update has been done and that would prompt me for a purchase.
Also there is a new bric by a user I do not recognise on the bric store with a Volt Admin etc - is this you @Jannis !!? - I am trying to work out exactly what is it etc - as I use Volt a lot and could be useful.
This information is available in the Extension Manager when you update the Bric. I know some developers also include this in the Bric description in the store as well.
No that is a new 3rd party developer who is a user of Volt CMS and who has created some of his own expansions for the CMS.
WOW! @Jannis you obviously didn’t know about this then……..good job I posted.
I do not know about digital ownership law etc but surely they would need your permission to create add on’s? - It would like Sega adding Sonic Levels to Super Mario !?…lol…(Sorry, my gamer head explains things much more simpler !)
…..I dunno! - If it’s not officially approved then I will leave it.
I will be honest - I haven’t a clue what it does anyway ! - all my clients and myself do not need anything extra at the moment apart from what I have asked for in the past in the Blog sections ! lol
Done, I assumed they would have been in contact who you before the release of them. I also encouraged the developer to come and introduce himself on the forum, I guess he hasn’t.
Now they are named as just generic CMS Admin brics, but still mention the word Volt in the description “volt-secret.php” which still seems to imply its Volt related ?
