As the biggest internet shopping day of the year approaches, we have been hard at work adding some new functionality to the Blocs Store to help inform our visitors that your amazing templates and add-ons are on sale.
Product Sale Mode
The product options now have a Sale Mode set of controls that let you set the product as being on sale, set a sale price, apply some details about the sale end date and also the ability to add a url variable to the product purchase url (perfect for assigning promo codes).
When a product is on sale, it gets a little tag on the product card throughout the Blocs Store as well as displaying the sale price, if one is set.
And on the product page you get a sale banner at the top, a notice above the buy button that includes the end date and the buy button also includes the new sale price.
Best part is, you can assign these details in advance and then enable the sale mode checkbox to turn them on and off when required.
I know template builders are thinking “Great, but I have A LOT of templates, WTF! Norm expects me to update each product!?!”.

Global Sale Mode 
We know some of you have a lot of products, so we also added some Global Sale Options.
You’ll find them in your Blocs Store account settings.
If Global Sale Mode is enabled, it will apply the sale badge to all of your products that are listed for sale. You can also set Global Sale End details and a Global Sale URL Variable, which all products will use unless they are overridden on the product details page.
I’ve personally been wanting these options for a while now so I can make it really clear what is happening with our add-ons during sale periods on the Blocs Store.
