Breakthrough with Blocs

I have to admit getting competent and confident with Blocs has been a challenge.

I took me a long time to get the concept that Blocs is not a wysiwyg design tool but rather a CSS layout and design tool.

Needless to say, over the last week I had a breakthrough and really started to connect with Blocs.

So I decided to push myself as far as I could to see if I could accomplish the task.

The following link is the fruits of my labours (no tutorials). I’m not going to leave it too long because I don’t want the copyright police coming after me. (Click the link and you’ll understand)

It works on all breakpoints, using official fonts and assets. It’s not pixel perfect but it’s as close as I can get it. DON’T forget to mouseover the store link and the footer links too (on mobile)!

Let me know what you think

P.S. I had to update it today for the new watch hero!

Nice work, looks tidy.

It’s nice to replicate websites like that at times for a bit of fun and to practice designs etc - gets you thinking where things are etc and learn new things.

As you said, not pixel perfect and bits to tidy up if it was an official release website ! but nice work.

Look forward to seeing your own designs and builds soon - keep it up.

Great work, Looks awesome!

@mliving thanks for sharing your project. I think you have done a great job :raised_hands: Look forward to seeing your future designs!

Great design! It’s similar to the Apple website. You did a fantastic job! :clap:t2:

One of the best mirrored design I’ve seen. You have some mad skills. Make this a Template and I would be one to purchase it. Just to play and learn how you built it.
