I’m working on a client project and I’m running into an issue: the layout breaks around the slider and the tabs. Has anyone seen something like this before or knows how to fix the layer stacking/layout problem?
I can’t restart the project from scratch since I’ve already put a lot of work into it. Thanks a lot!
But I keep running into this when I add a slider in Blocs or drop in tabs: some divs suddenly disappear in the layer tree and then I can’t really edit anything anymore. Even if I delete the element completely and add a fresh slider again, parts of the structure are still missing like containers/divs. Super frustrating.
And about that extra div you noticed: it’s not for horizontal scroll. I think it’s part of the same issue, like something is getting created or removed incorrectly.
How did you end up fixing this on your side? Did you find a specific workaround in Blocs, like rebuilding that section, resetting the structure, or changing something about the slider/tabs setup?
Most of the times I have to delete the whole bloc and redone from scratch when migrating from one version to blocs to another. I also notice some times the bloc is stylized but it has no classes applied. Its a time consuming process that should be not an issue
I sometimes experience something similar after duplicating. Then there is a DIV or something else that cannot be selected and does not appear in the tree. So far, however, I have not been able to reproduce it reliably. With “save as,” it sometimes disappeared again. But not always…
Therefore, for current projects, I have the backup set to every 5 minutes under Settings. Then not so much is lost.
