These are good but what I think most new users need is better documentation beyond a very high level description provided in the Blocs docs.
For example, it would be nice if the settings in these dialogue boxes where explained in a way that you could confidently set them and get predicable results.
There doesnāt seem to be any sort of detailed information in the Blocs Knowledge base regarding this type of information.
Just a thought Norm!
Agreed, itās things like position: relative, absolute etc. which always have me scrambling to see what they mean on the internet.
It all seems to be trial and error with us non-coders who arenāt āin the knowā. I know we could learn, but a page of explanations wouldnāt go amiss as a quick reference.
Why donāt you search the answers on Google and then copy and paste them into your own design document. Then you can just look at it whenever you forget what you learned last time?
I usually do that for software, I write down the shortcuts, terms, etc. Itās really handy, as I was doing exactly the same and having Google it every time.
These types of descriptions and information used to come in a detailed manual.
So I donāt think itās unreasonable to ask to have detailed information like this in the online knowledge base.
Besides there seems to be a LOT more coding required than advertised given Blocs is a ādrag and dropā website builder by description.
I disagree iām afraid, if you want something bespoke or different that is not out of he box from Blocs then yes a small element of code is required but 99% of the time its available without codeā¦Blocs is a very very powerful tool, specially now V6 has now given more options than ever.
But your comments above I agree with that new users and even experienced users would love to know more on what some things in the class editor do as it would expand our knowledge and make using Blocs even easier!
