Darshan Hiranandani : How can I set up Chrome to automatically play videos without clicking play?

Hi Team,

I’m Darshan Hiranandani, having trouble with getting a video to autoplay in the background on the main page. I’m unable to find a solution to bypass Chrome’s blocking settings for this issue.

Could anyone provide suggestions or solutions for making the video play automatically in the background despite these restrictions?

I guess I don’t understand your troubles
as I just:

1/ create video background on a bloc (full screen)
2/ test by playing with chrome: video is smooth
3/ export the project and open it with chrome: video is smooth

Is this a video hosted by a provider like youtube etc? or is this your own video hosted by yourself? What settings do you have in, do you have it in the background of a bloc? or have you used the video bric? does it play in the blocs preview? are you then right clicking and previewing in chrome or have you exported your site and previewing it in chrome?
