I need some expert advice for a particular design type that I found on internet. I want to understand that is it possible to create this kind of design using Blocs 5.0 or do we need something else to create such design (image attached below)…
What I want to know is that how can we create these background black and blue Triangle shapes behind the column/card tool that have been created in this design. Are these triangles actually images that have been displayed behind the text using some kind of overlapping ?? If this is the case then have these been aligned this way so perfectly in one particular corner and how can we achieve this result ??
This is a great idea of stacking two images on top of each other inside one column and then move the top image proportionately based on the image dimensions. Also 400x400 image has been constrained inside an image bric of 250x250. So it looks good on all device sizes.
Hello @Jerry, thank you for the CSS solution, however it looks a bit intimidating to me as I have very little knowledge of this advanced CSS. I am sure that all these and many more advance layouts are achievable through CSS, but may knowledge of the language is very very limited. For me, solution given by Mr Finn looks easy to implement, however I really thank you for the help and advise..
You are quite inspirational. Believe me I have downloaded a couple of CSS books to learn and I will motivate myself to do so as well, 'cuz I know that CSS solution is global. Functionality based on images is very limited and is different on each web design app, however solutions based on a language like CSS is global and can be implemented in any web design app that supports custom CSS.
Basic level of HTML. That’s why I downloaded few books to learn advance web development. Its just that sometimes your brain thinks its easier to just use the tools than learning to write all code, but I guess you have to strike a balance between designing and code to create slick looking web pages
Can you please help me with the alignment code / settings of the triangle Div and the front image. I have been trying but cannot achieve the same effect.
