I am finding that the font weight that I set on the canvas looks fine in Blocs preview but in Chrome / Safari / Firefox does not. The font I’ve used is Montserrat.
Am I doing something wrong?

Unless you are using a variable weighted font. I would make sure you have the different weights of the Font you are wanting to use installed.
As I understand it, the way weight works is it will look either for the corresponding font with the right weight, or fall back to the closest. This is why some fonts have little or no change when you set the weight.
Changing the weight on fonts you do not have the weight variants installed for isn’t going to be accurate.

I tend to set the font to the weighted-font, rather than using the font weight option.
