I don’t use any forms (except E mail) but I wonder….does Norm see ALL of the forms posts up here? Norm?
There doesn’t seem to be a day that goes by without someone posting a problem with forms.
I am just posting this to ask, “Is anyone else seeing what I am seeing?”

Forms is a tricky one as so many variables that are not the fault of the website builder.
Form issues used to come up on Rapidweaver a lot as users putting wrong email address, passwords, not correct info from the hosting, using emails to send that are not from the domain and using hotmail or gmail instead…just so many.
I personally have never had issues and I do tend to get all my clients to use google workspace and yes sometimes to start with it might not work, and then its a setting my hosting change for me and then all works.
To anyone reading this - if you have followed the steps and still not working, I would check with your hosting too.
I can assure you, all the form issues I’m having - including not being able to send/post do not fall into those PEBKAC errors.
What would you recommend I look at at the hosting end? Because the webmail for the accounts I’m using works perfectly and they can receive and send normally from regular email clients.
Is the form email domain name the same as the website domain? That’s a common one that hosting companies block, especially the use of gmail outlook etc.
Yes it is.
I can’t get around that as it’s my VPS. And I’m running the server and mail server.
I have just about given up. I had my mail working. Updated my site and it’s gone down. I have tried using AI to help me but nothing works. There is virtually no info on Youtube and forums on the issue are like three years ago. People have given up answering mail form questions. I’m here now looking for answers.
I use Machform for all my forms. I have several booking forms and contact forms and they just work. Not quite the solution you wanted worth a look.
What is the form setup is it very complex?
Also at which stage are you getting the error with the form?
